On My Bookshelf: I am currently loving Kim Boyce’s book, Good to the Grain. It is a book all about baking with whole grains! Kim helps you navigate experimenting with new grains and flavors with her carefully laid out and thoughtful approach to taking on whole grains and still making them taste good. My personal favorites so far have been: Strawberry Barley Scones and Whole-Wheat Chocolate Chip Cookies. Also, if you happen to be visiting Portland, you MUST stop by her charming bakery, Bake Shop and get one of everything. You can thank me later.
